Financial Interests and Remuneration
Rock Risk (Pty) Ltd receives more than 30% of its total commission from one insurer, primarily because a significant proportion of the Marine portfolio is placed with that insurer. Rock Risk (Pty) Ltd does not own more than 10% of the issued shares in any insurer/product provider and does not form part of an associated company of such a provider.
Commission and any applicable fees will be disclosed by the financial adviser.

R20 million through New National Assurance Company.

Conflicts of Interest and Treating Customers Fairly
Rock Risk (Pty) Ltd maintains a Conflict of Interest Management Policy and Gifts Register, both of which are available on request. We apply Treating Customers Fairly principles to the way we advise, communicate, service policies, manage claims and handle complaints. We declare any conflict of interest and act in the best interests of our clients at all times, in accordance with FAIS requirements.
Business Continuity
Rock Risk (Pty) Ltd maintains business-continuity arrangements intended to support ongoing client service if the person ordinarily responsible for your account becomes temporarily or permanently unable to act. Where another appropriately authorised person or Financial Services Provider is required to assist with or assume responsibility for servicing your insurance portfolio, this will be managed in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and with due regard to your right to choose your insurance broker. Clients will be informed of any material change affecting the person or Financial Services Provider responsible for servicing their insurance arrangements.
